Best sequence for courses

I'm new and have a question about the courses Web Design, Front End Loading, Rails, IOS, Android Development, and PHP. What is the best sequence to take these courses? Which are the most valuable to potential employers?

First figure out what you want to build a project which you will work on for your time here. You could have on big project or several little projects.

If you want to make websites The I would recommend Web Design, Front End Development and maybe Wordpress Developmet. If you want to build Web Apps (interactive websites) then I would recommend Front End Development, then PHP OR Ruby and maybe the Bussiness track. If you want to develop for mobile then both the IOS and Android track. Each has its own value to an employer.

The more you know the better but you have to truely know it which means tons of practice outside of treehouse. Just going through a track won't do it.

Best of luck!

Front-end web design is essential if you want to take either the Ruby or PHP courses. Android and IOS are sorta standalone in regards to tracks. You can jump right into those without even looking at any other subject on here. It really comes down to what you want to. Interested in web development, take either the web design or front-end courses. Interested in mobile application development? Take either Android or iOS.

Regardless of what path you take, even the Android and iOS. It will be in your best interest as a developer to learn javascript html and css. Many applications today that reside on smart devices, rely heavily on backend API's that are written in JSON ( javascript object notation) and XML (Extensible Markup Langage.. very similar to html). I highly recommend going through the front-end web-development path before tackling the iOS or Android if that is what you're interested. This is just my opinion though.

My plan is starting with the HTML/CSS & then going into the mobile stuff. I really think it's all just personal preference though.
