Box shadow commas

In the last topic of the Box Shadow video, Guil explains that each side of a box shadow can be specified by separating the set of each sides values by a comma. It's said that the first set of values will display the top box shadow, and the last set will display the bottom box shadow. I am confused how each set of values (first set, second set, third set) displays each side. It's clear in his markup that the first set has a color value of blue, but the top box shadow is displayed as red.

Can someone explain this to me?? Thanks!!

Hey Alec Walczak,

What I meant by "top box shadow" is that it's the top most layer in the set of box shadows. In the example notice how the blue box shadow overlays parts of the red and black shadows.

Hope this helps. :)
