CSS3 Supports both spellings, lightslate*gray* and lightslate*grey*. You can find more info here on MDN.

The error you're encountering might be due to syntax. In CSS you don't place a semicolon after a rule-set.

This is incorrect CSS syntax:

p {
    color: lightslategrey;
};

This is the correct CSS syntax (notice the lack of semicolon after the 'p' rule-set):

p {
    color: lightslategrey;
}

I hope this helps!
