Build a responsive website > font weights

I've completed the entire build a responsive website, all quizzes and code challenges, and am now going back through again and updating my original Smells Like Bakin' website to be responsive.

In original, we just linked in the the Google Font family Nunito, and did not specify any font weights.

In this version, the font weights 300, 400, & 700 are linked, but I do not understand why font-weight: 100 is repeatedly specified for the headings.

I do know that the browser will bold the headings unless specified otherwise, like font-weight:normal or 400; but Nunito does not have a 100 weight.

If a 100 weight font was desired, why not use something like Lato? Or is there something I missed?
