I'm in the process of trying to convert one of my own fixed width designs into a responsive one, and am following along with this video series for guidance. In looking at the finished files for this project I've noticed that there are many elements still set to px. I don't understand how it was decided which elements needed to be converted to ems or percentages, while others were kept at px's.

For exemple, a column (structure) and an img (width: 100%) in this column. Every item that is relative to the structure of your page should be converted in %. On the other hand, items like badges, labels, buttons (small items in general) should stay in px.
Is what I said clear enough?
