I'm going through the videos so I can learn how to build my own iPhone apps but I am having difficulty understanding the coding part of it. Is there a series I can watch so I can learn more about C or objective-C? I feel like I'm just going through the motions and not understanding what is going on entirely.
I find myself going back and copying what was done to get through the code challenges and sometimes not even knowing what to do after watching the video multiple times.
Thanks!

Treehouse Project ReviewerThere's no better way to get better at a new language than getting your hands on the keyboard. Try to make a couple of sample apps. Try creating a calculator, or some other sort of small and simple applications. You'd be surprised at what you learn. As much as that is not what you want to hear, it's what will make you better. At the core of any application is data and data manipulation. Learning how to get this data and manipulating it is difficult to do, but something you must sit down and take the time to learn. Just doing a few samples and completing a code challenge will not make you proficient at any language.
In the case of Objective C, it would be hard for treehouse to cover every single data type and how you manipulate it, so if you need to learn Obj-C on that level, then nothing will beat a Google search.
