'Bulking Up' Treebook

Hi, I've just completed 'Build a Simple ROR App', and whilst I don't want to go through the hassle of completing the other two stages just yet, there are a few incremental changes that I'd like to make. I'm wondering if any of you guys could help me out ?:) Thank you in advance.

The changes I'd like to make are:

1) Add the profile picture to the profile pages, along with favourites eg. favourite movies etc. (how would the user update this?)

2)The mailers don't work so if a user forgets their password they're well..uh..screwed.

3)Add links to the profile pages on the navbar and also on the statuses?

Please help me out if you can.
