Bullet points came back when I applied the descendant selector

When I applied the descendant selector, the bullet points came back since I am using an unordered list. I tried adjusting code to see if I could make it go away but I could not. Any advice here?

Inside your style tag you have to target the ul tag and set the list-style to none.

So your code would look like this:

<meta charset="utf-8">
<title>Chris Beasley | Programmer</title>
 <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/normalize.css">

<style>
  ul {
    list-style: none;
}
  nav a {
    background-color: orange;
    color: white;
  }

</style>

<header>
  <a href="index.html">
    <h1>Chris Beasley</h1>
  <h2>Programmer</h2>
  </a>

  <nav>
    <ul>
      <li> <a href="index.html"> Portfolio </a></li>
      <li> <a href="about.html"> About </a></li>
      <li> <a href="contact.html"> Contact </a></li>
    </ul>
</nav>
</header>
<section>
  <ul>
    <li>
      <a href="img/numbers-01.jpg">
        <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="">
        <p> Experimentation with color and texture</p>
      </a>
    </li>

    <li>
      <a href="img/numbers-02.jpg">
        <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt="">
        <p>Playing with blending modes in photoshop</p>
      </a>
    </li>

    <li>
      <a href="img/numbers-06.jpg">
        <img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt="">
        <p> 80s</p>
      </a>
    </li>

    <li>
      <a href="img/numbers-09.jpg">
        <img src="img/numbers-09.jpg" alt="">
        <p> Idk</p>
      </a>
    </li>

    <li>
      <a href="img/numbers-12.jpg">
