Bummer! Did you float .logo left? Yes. Yes I did.

@media only screen and (min-width: 769px) { .logo { float: left; } .main-nav { float: right; } .main { width: 40.425531914894%; } .extra { display: block; width: 23.404255319149%; } }

(formatting lost)

So it seems it doesn't matter if I copy/paste or type this in, this particular code challenge refuses to accept this answer. Previewing this results in logo being on the left, navigation on the right and the 'Extra' div content box displayed to the right of 'Secondary'. Regardless, the error is still thrown out and I'm not able to complete the challenge.

Help please!

:-)

your code looks correct. try refreshing the challenge and trying again. I passed using your code ( i just copied it in and it worked fine) for task 2:

/* Phones to Tablets */

@media only screen and (min-width: 481px) {

  .col { float: left; }
  .main {
    width: 65.957446808511%;
}
.secondary {
    width: 31.914893617021%;
}
.secondary,
.extra {
    margin-left: 2.127659574468%;
}

}

/* Tablets to Desktop */
@media only screen and (min-width: 769px) {

  .logo { float: left; }

  .main-nav { float: right; }
  .main {
    width: 40.425531914894%;
}
.extra {
    width: 23.404255319149%;
   display: block;
}
}
