Bummer! Didn't get the right pattern

I've tried changing my input to test more than just the sample pattern and it keeps working. Unfortunately, I keep getting the dreaded "Bummer! Didn't get the right pattern" I don't understand what I'm missing.

@classmethod
def from_string(cls, instr):
    DDSplit = instr.split('-')
    DDList = []
    for blip in DDSplit:
          if blip.lower() == 'dash':
            DDList.append('-')
          else:
            DDList.append('.')
    return cls(DDList)
morse.py
class Letter:
    def __init__(self, pattern=None):
        self.pattern = pattern

    def __iter__(self):
        yield from self.pattern

    def __str__(self):
        output = []
        for blip in self:
            if blip == '.':
                output.append('dot')
            else:
                output.append('dash')
        return '-'.join(output)

    @classmethod
    def from_string(cls, instr):
        DDSplit = instr.split('-')
        DDList = []
        for blip in DDSplit:
              if blip.lower() == 'dash':
                DDList.append('-')
              else:
                DDList.append('.')
        return cls(DDList)

class S(Letter):
    def __init__(self):
         pattern = ['.', '.', '.']
         super().__init__(pattern)

It looks like you're converting to the wrong symbol.

The challenge example shows "dash" being represented in the pattern by underscore ("_"), but your code is appending a hyphen ("-") instead.

It's always the little things. Thanks for your help.
