Python

Bummer! please try again!

I have this code:

def add(num1, num2):
    try:
        except ValueError:
            return None
        else:
            num1 = float(num1)
            num2 = float(num2)
                return(num1 + num2)

but it keeps saying Bummer! please try again!

whats wrong??

Here's a couple of hints.

  • a try, except, else set should all be indented the same amount
  • the float conversions must be done in the try block to detect exceptions

Got it thanks!
