You need to echo the requested string inside your if statements, using the variables at the top

if($studentOneGPA == 4.0){
    echo $studentOneName . ' made the Honor Roll';
}else{
echo $studentOneName . ' has a GPA of ' . $studentOneGPA;
}

if($studentTwoGPA == 4.0){
    echo $studentTwoName . ' made the Honor Roll';
}else{
echo $studentTwoName . ' has a GPA of ' . $studentTwoGPA;
}

Hi deebird, it still gives me the same error. Here's the revised code.

<?php $studentOneName = 'Dave'; $studentOneGPA = 3.8;

$studentTwoName = 'Treasure'; $studentTwoGPA = 4.0;

if ($studentOneGPA == 4.0) { echo $studenOneName . ' made the Honor Roll.'; } else { echo $studentOneName . ' has a GPA of ' . $studentOneGPA; }

if ($studentTwoGPA == 4.0) { echo $studentTwoName . ' made the Honor Roll.'; } else { echo $studentTwoName . ' has a GPA of ' . $studentTwoGPA; } ?>

Hi deebird, I found the error. It's my bad... I mistyped $studentOneName in the first if block with $studenOneName.
