Button from previous video no longer functions

<!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <title>JavaScript and the DOM</title> <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/style.css"> </head> <body> <h1 id="myHeading">JavaScript and the DOM</h1> <p>Making a web page interactive</p> <button id="toggleList">Hide List</button> <div class="list"> <p class="description">Things that are purple:</p> <input type="text" class"description"> <button class="description">Change list description</button> <ul> <li>grapes</li> <li>amethyst</li> <li>lavender</li> <li>plums</li> </ul> </div> <script src="app.js"></script> </body> </html>

**** JavaScript ******

const toggleList = document.getElementById('toggleList'); const listDiv = document.querySelector('.list'); const input = document.querySelector('input.description'); const p = document.querySelector('p.description'); const button = document.querySelector('button.description');

toggleList.addEventListener('click', () => { if (listDiv.style.display == 'none') { toggleList.textContent = 'Hide List'; listDiv.style.display = 'block'; } else { toggleList.textContent = 'Show list'; listDiv.style.display = 'none'; } });

button.addEventListener('click', () => { p.innerHTML = input.value + ':'; });

The second button in this .js file no longer does anything. I can't figure why that is.

In the text box used by the button handler, the equal sign ("=") is missing between the word "class" and the value "description".

And to make posted code easier to read, use the instructions for code formatting in the Markdown Cheatsheet pop-up below the "Add an Answer" area. :arrow_heading_down:   Or watch this video on code formatting.
