Android Build a Simple Android App (2014) Basic Android Programming Introduction to Methods and Classes

Button has no text on Android Studio 1.1.0

I am using Android Studio 1.1.0 & now the button I created (I'm doing the courses) no longer shows a text. It used to have text, I put in the text per instruction but now it is just blank. I even checked TEXT on Android Studio & it appears to be the same as before. Anyone else ever encounter this?

Same happened for me

I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing this. The button still actually functions but the text is missing... Very weird... If anyone knows a solution...

Try going on with the course to see if the problem is resolved. I no longer have that error

This issue is still happening. You said it fixed itself on it's own. Where were you in the lessons when this stopped happening?

First, I would make sure that the text isn't white or transparent. Then, if those settings are correct, I would just make a new button with the same settings.
