HTML HTML Forms Choosing Options Create a Select Menu

Button Tag

I'm having trouble with the last step on one of my quizzes. It's asking me to put a button tag at the end. When I do try to code in the element <button type="submit">text</button> nothing highlights in anything but the one color and my quiz won't accept my answer.

Do you have any idea why the test doesn't highlight neither my element nor its attribute and if that has anything to do with why the test isn't accepting my answer?

Thanks!

I have seen this happen a few times before with others with this challenge. You need a closing select tag after the last option prior to your button. You should also fix this line:

<option value="orange">Orange<"</option>

should be:

<option value="orange">Orange</option>

Awesome! I appreciate it.
