6,880 PointsC# Exceptions help
I am tired and can't think. I always get confused when I use excptions. Like if I throw an exception, does it have to be handled immediately or can it chill somewhere and then be handled a few method calls later? I don't understand how it works so it's hard to think logically to solve this.
int value = int.Parse(Console.ReadLine());
if (value < 0 || value > 20)
{
throw new System.Exception();
}
try
{
Console.WriteLine(string.Format("You entered {0}",value));
}
catch(Exception)
{
Console.WriteLine("Value is out of bounds!");
}

231,269 PointsExceptions must always be handled immediately.
When an exception is thrown, either by your code or by the system, the next instruction will be taken from the appropriate catch block.
If there is no catch block for the exception type, or if the exception occurred when no try block was in effect, the program will terminate.
