Call the function and assign the return value to a variable called $flavor.

The "flavor.php" include file contains a function named get_flavor. That function receives no arguments, and it returns a piece of text as its return value. Call that function and assign the return value to a variable named $flavor

output.php
<?php
include "flavor.php";

function get_flavor() {
  echo "vanilla";
}

get_flavor();
echo "Hal's favorite flavor of ice cream is ____.";
echo $flavor;

?>

Hello!

If you include a script in your current script, you inherit all of the code that is in that script. So there is no need to write the function again.

You can simply call the function and set it to your variable, then use the variable in your echo.

<?php

//Include the script with the necessary funciton
include "flavor.php";

//Set the return value of the function "get_flavor" to the variable $flavor
$flavor = get_flavor();

//echo the statement that declares Hal's love for vanilla
echo "Hal's favorite flavor of ice cream is ". $flavor . ".";

?>

Hope that helps!
