Camera not following frog

I added fallowCamera Script to the Main camera. My code is correct.

using UnityEngine; using System.Collections;

public class FollowCamera : MonoBehaviour {

[SerializeField]
private Transform player;
[SerializeField]
private Vector3 offset;
private float cameraFollowSpeed = 5f;

// Use this for initialization
void Start () {
    Vector3 newPosition = player.position + offset;

    transform.position = Vector3.Lerp (transform.position,newPosition, cameraFollowSpeed * Time.deltaTime);

}

}

Hi John,

You have added your code into the 'Start' method instead of the 'Update'. This means it will not follow per frame, only once at the very start.

Just move your code from start to update:

void Update () {
    Vector3 newPosition = player.position + offset;
    transform.position = Vector3.Lerp(transform.position, newPosition, cameraFollowSpeed * Time.deltaTime);
}
