Can anyone explain me what’s exactly going on?

On line 67, Inside the if statement he types player=more_player(player,move) is player = x and move =y inside the function? I am kinda confused I need help I just don’t understand what’s happening there

When line 67 is added, the "move_player" function is only temporary comments (and non-functional). Keep going in the video and you'll see where that function gets finished. What it does should make more sense then.
