Can anyone give an opinion on this.

Kudos Vamsi for taking advantage of Stack Overflow and posting your question there!! Looks like someone over there did a good job of answering your question too, very nice!

It looks like though you're still waiting to hear back from them about possibly elaborating on whether your approach is maintainable. While they do mention that it could, in fact, be more maintainable I hope they elaborate further for you. In the meantime if there's a point from your question or their answer that you would like to discuss further I highly recommend starting another discussion, here in the forum, with more details regarding those points you are curious about.

Keep up the awesome work!

Thanks for your encouraging comment. But the SO community is so strict about some rules, hence they don't even think from a newbie perspective. I am downvoted on that question and the question was put on hold :(

I do agree, SO has some pretty strict guidelines when it comes to posting questions. I think they try to avoid any questions that could be opinion based. However, the fact that they only put your question "on hold", instead of closing it, is a good sign! And don't take the down-voting personally, because you are right, some people might not realize you're coming from a newbie perspective. Instead view both as an opportunity to see how you could ask your question better, or how you could be more specific in what you're having troubles with. Either way keep up the awesome work, and again feel free to post your question again here in the community forum!

Hi @Vamsi To help you out on your question, I would say it would be considered 'best practice' to keep those two (div and p) tags together, in your stylesheet. This would reduce repetition in your stylesheet. Ideally, styles and markup are to be kept separate, so although the fall in different locations in your HTML, this should not make a difference in your CSS.

Hope that helps a little, I'm sure others would be happy to pass on their ideas or experiences.
