Can anyone help with me with drawing the ASCII grid map for the dungeon game in the python beginners track?

Ive taken a snapshot of the code here:

everything else seems to be working fine, and sometimes the map draws perfectly, but other times i get some really random results, and i can't work out what's causing it it's really confusing me. apologies if the code isn't very 'clean' or easy to work with

any help/advice would be much appreciated!!!
