CSS Sass Basics Add Reusable Logic to Your Sass Advanced Mixins Challenge

Can anyone see why this Sass challenge isn't passing?

I get the error

"Bummer! You should use the $color variable to set the border color."

despite having created a $color paramater in the @mixin and then passed $color to the border-color declartion in the @mixin

style.scss
@mixin square($size, $color){
height:$size;
width:$size;
border:1px solid;
border-color:$color;

};

Hi Scott,

You should declare border-color. Instead put the $color in your border declaration. So:

@mixin square ($size, $color) {
  width: $size;
  height: $size;
  border: 1px solid $color;
}

Having said this: your code should have passed. It's just a correct as mine. So blame the challenge!

Hope it helps, Max

Thanks Max, that helps!
