Can i release the app if I've made substantial changes ?

I would like to release the app but am i allowed to I've changed user interface , facts , colors , fonts ,layout and constraints but not the icon .

Ooo, i don't know but i have also a question related to this sort of i think .

If i copy and app but put different graphics, thats legal?

So if e.g. play Flappy Bird and i code it exactl the same , so i mean everything his the same but i only change graphics thats legal?

I dunno because I've change the functions sizes and many things , I think in that case you can because of what you've changed . But I'm only 12 years old so I'm new to all this stuff.

TL;DR: Check with their legal department, to see whether they are retaining the copyrights for their code presented here.

Significant changes may be okay, however significant would be a very key word here. Code, I believe, falls under copyright law, and as such, a direct copy and paste would be illegal just as if you copied a book and only changed the cover and fonts. Major changes... well that would be like re-imagining the story (Think Wizard of OZ vs Wicked).

If you are planning to use the code presented here at Treehouse, you may want to contact their legal department to see if the code if presented as public domain or some sort of creative commons license which may allow a not for profit dissemination.

so basicaly i can make like , watch tutorials and combine some points with eatch other?

I think if you use different asset images and reference that the code you've written was instructed by Treehouse you should be good. The assets should be property of Treehouse but you can make small changes to code and it's your own.
