Python Python Collections (2016, retired 2019) Dictionaries Packing and Unpacking Dictionaries

can someone explain to me exactly what dictionaries are? and what they are used for. Also i need help with understanding

can someone explain to me exactly what dictionaries are? and what they are used for. Also i need help with understanding what kwargs and unpacking and packing is, it doesnt make any sense to me. thank you.

Hi, Kendall Kelly.

Python dictionaries are the equivalent of "objects" in other languages such as JavaScript and Java. Dictionaries allow us to create a structured object so that it can be reused over and over quickly and efficiently.

When making a character we can make instances of the dictionary, rather than remaking each character from scratch.
