Can someone please help me with task 2?

I passed task one, but I'm struggling with task 2. When I clicked on get help, the ask a question screen didn't show up. Here is my code for task one and task two.

var username = id.toUpperCase() - Task one

var username = id.toUpperCase() + '#' + lastname.toUpperCase(); - Task two

app.js
var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";

var userName

Hi there! You're doing just fine. You have two typos. Somehow, you've managed to go back to the userName variable and change it to username. Note the capitalization difference with the "n" and "N". The same thing is true where you have lastname instead of lastName. If I copy and paste your code and change the capitalization, your code passes. Hope this helps! :sparkles:

Thank you Jennifer.
