Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Student 5,306 PointsCan someone please remind me how to select the decedents of an element?
I'm using getElementsByTagName() and I want to get the decedents of all elements with the "nav" tag.
let navigationLinks = document.getElementsByTagName('nav').decendnet;
let galleryLinks;
let footerImages;

document.getElementById('abc');
Then using the element's properties like:
document.getElementById('abc').children; // gives all the children
document.getElementById('abc').firstChild; //gives the first child element
document.getElementById('abc').lastChild; //gives the last child element
Check out MDN for more examples: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/ParentNode/children

returns an array. So:
navigationLinks.children;
will not work. You need to use navigationLinks[0].children and so on,

Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Student 5,306 PointsThanks, but I'm using the 'getElementByTagName()' function as that's what the exercise wants. the '.children' doesn't seem to work for that.
