CSS

Can someone tell me why this isn't passing the quiz on Part3 of "CSS Foundations Text, Fonts, and Lists List Styles".

/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
ul {
  list-style-type: none;

ul  li {
    background: url('img/marker.png');

  }

ul li {
      margin-bottom: 20px;
  }

3/3 "Add a bottom margin of 20px to the list items."

It should be:

ul { list-style-type: none;}

ul li { background: url('img/marker.png'); margin-bottom: 20px; }

This will work, however, you forgot the closing curly bracket after the first rule: ul { list-style-type: none;

Ah beaten by Kathy

ul { list-style:none; }

li { background-image(url'img/marker.png'); margin-bottom:20px; }

hi John, i think there is syntax error as you ul li inside the ul, so the correct code should look like

  ul { list-style-type: none;}

 ul li { background: url('img/marker.png');
        margin-bottom: 20px;
       }

oh dear, beaten by two lol

What do I get for beating the both of you? Lol

A big well done frm my side lol

Thanks!

tks guys.!
