57,684 PointsHi Matteo,
It is your first link - it should point to index.html
, you have linked it to portfolio.html
so if you amend that, you should be fine:
<nav>
<ul>
<li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
<li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
<li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>
</ul>
</nav>
index.html
not portfolio.html
<li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
Let me know if that fixes it for you.
Steve.

29,084 Pointssounds like your on "how to build a website"? What is the code challenge, can you attach the question or video so I can see what he's asking you to do?

Steve Hunter
57,684 PointsCode challenges are linked in the top right of forum posts, if the question is asked from the challenge directly.

5,087 PointsLink each of the three list items. Portfolio should go to “index.html”, About should go to “about.html”, and Contact should go to “contact.html”. this is the question

Steve Hunter
57,684 PointsExactly; and your Portfolio link doesn't go to index.html
it goes to portfolio.html
. So, if you change your first link from ...
<li><a href="portfolio.html">portfolio</a></li>
... to ...
<li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
... then you should be fine.
Steve.
