Can you please raise a ValueError if the product_idea is less than 3 characters long? I have a problem though, pe

What does it mean when my sting name product_idea is not defined???

suggestinator.py
def suggest(product_idea):
    return product_idea + "inator"
if product_idea <="3":
    raise ValueError ("There needs to be more than 3 characters!")
except ValueError as err:
    print("{}".format(err))

product_idea is parameter of the function suggest therefor when you return product_idea its not created as a variable for to use. You need to call the function and set it to a variable; I can't use backtics

def suggest(product_idea): return product_idea + "inator" product_idea = suggest(ENTER IDEA) if product_idea <="3": raise ValueError ("There needs to be more than 3 characters!") except ValueError as err: print("{}".format(err))

Or a cleaner way of doing this is;

def suggest(product_idea): return product_idea + "inator" if suggest(ENTER IDEA) <="3": raise ValueError ("There needs to be more than 3 characters!") except ValueError as err: print("{}".format(err))
