can you put if statements into a function?

are you able to put an IF statement into a function? When i tried it it gave me both things in the console https://w.trhou.se/lsm

Your workspace didn't show up when I clicked the button. But to answer your question you can definitely put an if statement in a function. A function is just a block of code that sets a side a chunk of code for easy access when called. So you can pretty much put anything in a function. Did you add a return statement in the function so that the if statement would run?
