Game Development

Cannot edit script.

When trying to edit the script, it tries to launch in visualstudio. According to these other questions that's okay, but visual studio for some reason failed to install along with unity when I started here, and indeed still doesn't work when I try to download it manually.

***EDIT: I figured out that the issue was the current version of visual studio being incompatible with windows 8, forcing me to either update to 8.1 or 10, or install an older visual studio version.

As I side note, I opted for the latter because when I tried to update to 8.1 when it came out, it all but bricked my PC until I had it reversed. Great design, microsoft

When it tried to install before it gave me "error code 5007".

I'm on the programming games with C# and unity video, BTW. I'm only just starting here, I really don't know what I'm supposed to do.
