C# ASP.NET MVC Basics Modeling and Presenting Data Creating a Data Model

cannot get this to work...I have tried dozens of different things

namespace Treehouse.Models { public class VideoGame {

public int Id {get; set;}

 public string Title {get; set;}

 public string Description {get; set;}

 public string [] Characters {get; set;}

 public string Publisher {get; set;}

    public string DisplayText
    {
        get
        {
            return Title +" ("Publsher (Publisher)")";
        }
    }

}

}

VideoGame.cs
namespace Treehouse.Models
{
    public class VideoGame
    {

    public int Id {get; set;}

     public string Title {get; set;}

     public string Description {get; set;}

     public string [] Characters {get; set;}

     public string Publisher {get; set;}

        public string DisplayText
        {
            get
            {
                return Title +" ("Publsher (Publisher)")";
            }
        }

You're pretty close, except for:

  • you wrote "Publsher " instead of "Publisher" (with an "i")
  • you forgot one plus sign in your concatenation expression
  • you have an extra term in that expression.

You probably meant to write something like this:

                return Title + " (" + Publsher + ")";
