Cannot throw error

Hi I'm having problems on this. My code is below. I've been looking at it for an hour, and it doesn't seem to make sense. Thanks!

GoKart.java
public class GoKart {
  public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
  private String mColor;
  private int mBarsCount;

  public GoKart(String color) {
    mColor = color;
    mBarsCount = 0;
  }

  public String getColor() {
    return mColor;
  }

  public void drive(int laps) {
    // Other driving code omitted for clarity purposes
    if(mBarsCount <= laps)
    {
    throw new IllegalArgumentException("Not enough battery remains");
    }
    else mBarsCount -= laps;
  }
   public void drive() {
    drive(1);
  }

  public void charge() {
    while (!isFullyCharged()) {
      mBarsCount++;
    }
  }

  public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
    return mBarsCount == 0;
  }

  public boolean isFullyCharged() {
    return mBarsCount == MAX_BARS;
  }

}
    return mBarsCount == 0;
  }

  public boolean isFullyCharged() {
    return mBarsCount == MAX_BARS;
  }

}

You're really close! And I know the error message you are getting is not incredibly helpful. But the problem here is that you're saying that if the mBarsCount is less than or equal to laps. Let's say you have 6 bars. You should be able to go 6 laps. You're going to be out of battery at the end, but it should let you do it. If I take your code and remove the equals sign from the comparion between mBarsCount and laps... your code passes! :thumbsup:
