Android Build a Simple Android App (retired 2014) Getting Started with Android Android Setup and the Crystal Ball Project

Cant add a new Android Virtual Device "AVD"

I cant add a device, Ive done exactly as in the video

First android44 >that is for Android 4.4< latest so far

And ive been chosing Target: Android 4.4 - API Level 19

But it says, No devide selected so i cant press "OK" and go on, Could need some help, Thanks

Hey Tim,

When I go to create a new Android Virtual Device there are 3 main things I need to do.

I create a name for the device (Androidxx is fine)

Then I choose a device from a list of devices, for me these are in a list starting with Nexus 7 and ending in 2.7" QVGA (240x320: ldpi)

Then I choose the target, Android 4.4.2 - API Level 19.

It sounds like you missed choosing the device from the list (however what you see may be different depending on where you downloaded eclipse)
