Can't find the command prompt!

Hi!i can't find the command prompt in windows 8. Do anyone know how to find? Thanks a lot!

Go to your search bar in the Windows boot flat screen (sorry, can't think of the name), and search cmd or Command Prompt. Remember, the windows Command Prompt is entirely different from UNIX terminals and deserves tutorials specifically using the Windows Command Prompt.

Just press WINDOWS + R (windows is the key next to ALT, with the windows logo), then type: powershell

In the powershell prompt, type: java -version

You will see something like these:

java version "1.8.0_45" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_45-b15) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.45-b02, mixed mode)
