Android Build a Simple Android App with Kotlin Basic Android Programming Using the Random Class

Can't find the error in the text Using Random Class

the error say "randomNumber must be String", but it's declared as a string and give the error , what can I do?

import java.util.Random

val randomGenerator = Random()
val randomNumber  = randomNumber.toString()
val randomNumber = randomNumber.nextInt(10)

A couple of things there. First, the above code isn't utilizing the randomGenerator variable to generate a random number. Second, you'll need to generate the random number prior to converting it to a String.
