switch.php
<?php
//Available roles: admin, editor, author, subscriber
if (!isset($role)) {
    $role = 'subscriber';
}

//change to switch statement
$role = "admin";

switch($role) {
  case "admin" : echo 'As an admin, you can add, edit, or delete any post.';
    break;
    default :  echo "You do not have access to this page. Please contact your administrator.";
break;
}
?>

Hi Katja, I had the same code as yours. I deleted my comments and it passed.

Hi!!! It is simple, try this:

  1. Delete this line: $role = "admin";
  2. Delete the space between "case 'admin'" and ":"
<?php
//Available roles: admin, editor, author, subscriber
if (!isset($role)) {
    $role = 'subscriber';
}

switch($role)
{
  case 'admin':
      echo "As an admin, you can add, edit, or delete any post.";
      break;
  default:
      echo "You do not have access to this page. Please contact your administrator.";
      break;
}
