Front End Web Development Techdegree Student 14,550 PointsCan't install Sass from command line
So tried following Guil's instructions on installing Sass via the command line. The first error is exactly the same - don't have permissions etc.
Typing in 'sudo gem install sass' returns a warning:
WARNING: Improper use of the sudo command could lead to data loss or the deletion of important system files. Please double-check your typing when using sudo. Type "man sudo" for more information.
To proceed, enter your password, or type Ctrl-C to abort.

The problem is it won't let me type ANYTHING after the warning. There's no way for me to enter the password. All I can do is hit Ctrl-C to abort and that's it. Help please? :)

If I remember correctly, text will not appear in the password field in the command line. Although it may seem like you're not typing anything, you are. Try to enter your password and hit enter.
