Courses Plus Student 18,036 PointsCan't make the edited FunFacts app show up in the Android Virtual Device (5554:Nexus_5_API_23) like the teacher's
I'm having trouble making the edited FunFacts app show up in the Android Virtual Device (5554:Nexus_5_API_23) like the teacher's.
Anyone knows how to get it to show up?
Thanks.

Courses Plus Student 18,036 PointsI followed the video. Instead of using the first link (to download the latest version), I used the second Mac link (that uses the same version of Android Studio as Ben's) at the beginning of the Course so I can get the same results for my app with the plan upgrading later.
I ran into some other issues along the way but this is the only problem left. I can see FunFacts app in the virtual device in the Design view of the emulator but I run the app, it doesn't show up in the Android Virtual Device. All I see is a blank device.

56,414 PointsWhat happens when you press the play button in the top bar of Studio (just right of where it says "app")?

Courses Plus Student 18,036 PointsIt runs with no error or warning but then shows the blank virtual device on the left

Courses Plus Student 18,036 PointsNo, I haven't gotten it fixed yet. If you do, Sandra, let me know.

Treehouse Guest TeacherHi Kabir,
It know this seems like a silly question, but did you open the apps menu on the emulator and check to see if the app is in that list? It might be deploying and installing the app but not launching it immediately.
