Cant remember how to create class method, probably amongst other problems. Need some clues on what to do.
import random
class Die:
def __init__(self, sides=2):
if sides < 2:
raise ValueError("Can't have fewer than two sides")
self.sides = sides
self.value = random.randint(1, sides)
def __int__(self):
return self.value
def __add__(self, other):
return int(self) + other
def __radd__(self, other):
return self + other
class D20(Die):
def __init__(self):
super().__init__(sides=20)
class Hand(list):
@property
def total(self):
return sum(self)
@classmethod
def roll(cls, num):
for _ in num:
yield cls().append(D20)

- import the D20 class from dice.py
- create a new instance of the Hand class and assign it to a variable
- append all the D20's to your Hand first, and then return the Hand of D20s (you won't need yield)
Also:
- remember to include parentheses when creating a new instance of a D20()
- remember that "num" is not an iterable that can control a loop (but you could use it in a range)
