Android Build an Interactive Story App (Retired) Intents and Multiple Activities Adding a Second Activity

Can't resolve symbol Intent

private void startStory() { Intent intent = new Intent(StoryActivity.this, StoryActivity.class);

Intent is in red and when I hover it says Cannot resolve symbol Intent

You will need to import Intent. If you are using Android Studio, you can pres Ctrl+Alt+L and select organize imports. Or, you can click on the Intent, press Alt+Enter and select import. If you are using Eclipse, I believe the command is Ctrl+Shift+O to organize the imports. If you want to type in the import manually, you can go to your imports at the top of your main Java file and type import android.content.Intent;
