Can't run nodemon after installing it from the terminal

I have installed nodemon in the terminal with the following line as stated in the video

npm install -g nodemon

Once install and I enter nodemon into the terminal I get the following message.

-bash: nodemon: command not found

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Hi Rebekah,

Perhaps try using elevated permissions (sudo)

sudo npm install -g nodemon

Good luck,

Dave.

Hi again,

While I think you should try with sudo first ... if that doesn't work I just came across this link which might inspire some other ideas.

Kind regards,

Dave.
