Cant see the problem.

String firstName = "Konstantin"; console.printf ("%s, can code in Java!", firstName);

Doing the Challenge and I cant see where the problem is.

Name.java
// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console
String firstName = "Kolja";
console.printf ("%s can code in Java!", firstName);

Hi there,

The compiler is objecting to the space after printf and before the bracket. If you remove that, it'll work just fine.

Steve.

Thanks a lot Steve,

So strange, task 2/3 was to make the line console.printf ("%s can code in Java!", firstName); and it said Done!, even there was a space before the bracket so i thought that is not the problem. Anyways, baby steps in learnig are always like this :D

It is odd, yes. The compiler only objects to the formatted string having the space there; no idea why!
