Can't solve the task, Challenge "Membership", Task #1

Can anyone help me with this challenge? My code doesn't work. Does anyone have it? If yes, please help me!

membership.py 
store_open = None
store_hours = [9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18]
time = 9
if time in store_hours:
    store_open = True
else:
    store_open = False

I believe Treehouse has already made the time variable for you. Try deleting the time variable and it should work.

store_open = None store_hours = [9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18] if time in store_hours: store_open = True else: store_open = False

Oh it seems you were correct mate! I don't know why Treehouse hid the time variable, I didn't know why my code didn't work because it was in 100% correct, but anyway thanks for helping me! ;)

So don't define it yourself, just test it.

I had the same code as Karol and I believe the formulation was just confusion. Treehouse should just have said: Create a variable named time...
