Can't solve this while-loop exercise

Challenge: The code in app.js just opens a prompt, asks for a password, and writes to the document. Something is missing. Add a whileloop, so that a prompt keeps appearing until the user types "sesame" into the prompt.

I don't know how to solve this.

app.js
var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");

while(secret !== "sesam"){

  var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");

  if(secret === "sesam"){

  document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");
  break;
  }

  secret++;
}

Hey Fahri,

You're misspelling sesame, and don't need to use an if statement or a break in the while loop. Also, the document.write statement should be outside the loop since it should only be seen when the user successfully enters the password.

The code it's looking for is:

var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");

while (secret !== "sesame") {

    secret = prompt ("What is the secret password?");

}

document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

Good luck with the course!

Hey Daniel,

okay, now I see my mistake, thank you very much! I didn't know that I can leave the document.write(); statement oustide the while loop. Thank you again.
