Can't type "[" "{" in console [ruby]

Hi,

I'm new to the ruby track. I tried to type "{" and "[" in the console (in Workspaces), but it does not work. Did anybody else have this problem or just knows a simple solution?

well it happens to me when i forget to switch language. Try to reload it

Thank you for your answers! By switching languages, the brackets work, but it's nearly impossible to write any longer code, because most keys on the english keyboard are different to my german keyboard -.-
