Can't use the prefabs

I can't drag and drop the prefabs to the scene view nor the hierarchy. The prefab files are not blue boxes as the usually are, they look more like some kind of code or text file. Here's a picture of what it looks like:

My files in the Animations and Materials folders look the same. What's wrong?

I would try to re-import the files.
