Game Development How to Make a Video Game Score, Enemies, and Game State Add the Score Counter UI

canvas: screen space overlay, camera & world space

Could someone further explain what screen space overlay, camera & world space do and possible give examples? I'm lost.

Hey Chelsea,

So an overlay is literally just an element on top of another screen. Think about when you play a first person shooter. The screen will have a heads up display that might include your health and ammo count. Those UI items are not part of the main screen and just hovering over it.
