Carlos is just getting started and he has completed the HTML and CSS courses.

Hi.

I thought that this statement was true, as all conditions had to be true to make the statement true. How come it's false?

"Carlos is just getting started and he has completed the HTML and CSS courses. What answer is stored in the boolean isQualified below:

boolean isQualified = (
    learnedHTML &&
    learnedJavaScript &&
    learnedCSS
);

"

Since && is being used, all three conditions must be true. If he has not learned JavaScript, it will evaluate to false.

I thought he had learned JavaScript. I must have misunderstood.

Thanks
