Will Treehouse prepare me to take certification tests like A+, Cisco, Network Plus, etc.? If so, which courses should be utilized? Thank you.

16,593 PointsThe scope of those certifications is far outside any of the courses Treehouse has to offer. Digital literacy will help you understand some of the very basic fundamental concepts of the machine language side of A+, some of the OSI model for the networking stack, but hardware isn't really touched on very much.
There are a lot of great resources out there for getting certifications in IT. For A+ I highly recommend :
Michael Myer's A+ study guide: http://www.amazon.com/CompTIA-Certification-Edition-220-801-220-802/dp/007179512X
Professor Messor: http://www.professormesser.com/free-a-plus-training/220-701/professor-messers-free-220-70x-comptia-a-training-course/
Most of the people I've networked with when I worked in IT used either or both of those resources to get their A+. For Cisco I've seen some online training on Pluralsight (sorry Treehouse) https://www.pluralsight.com/browse/it-ops and they also have way more IT related courses than I think this site will have.
You might also want to see if there are any places that offer courses such as a community college, many people will take those as after you complete the course you can take the certification test too. I'd also pop over to the SpiceWorks (http://www.spiceworks.com/) community and see what people there have to say as well. There are a lot of really well known IT sysadmins there who can point you in the right direction and make sure you don't waste your time learning something you might not need.
